Indian Railways has released vacancies for many positions in Apprentice in South Eastern Division. The last date for the application has been fixed November 22, 2018. These recruitments are being done for the posts of fitter, carpenter, welder, mechanist and electrician in the railway. 10th, 12th and undergraduates can also apply on the railway. The minimum age for candidates applying for the application is 15 years and maximum age is 24 years.
Application fee for the posts is Rs 100 for general applications and no application fee has been fixed for SC, ST, PWD, female candidates.

Candidates who are 10th pass will also get better employment opportunities in the Railways. Age limit has also been increased for recruitment of vacant posts of Railway Recruitment Board.
Thursday, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal also announced that class 10th or class 12th or ITI or equivalent qualified person will be able to join the computer based test for group C (level 1) posts. The necessity of ITI has been abolished.
Mr. Piyush Goyal said in a program that the candidates who hold Class 10 or IIT and NCVT certificate will now be eligible for the Level 1 examination. He can apply for these posts. Goyal said that the first 10th class pass students could participate only in the Level 1 examination. We are re-establishing this situation.
It was also clear from the decision of the Railway Minister that not only the technical know-ups, but also the 10th class students of the group D will get a better chance.
Railway Minister told about the increase in fees for the examination that even many candidates did not take the exam by filling in the form in the Railways. The system was useless, that’s why provision of fees is kept. Those who participate in the CBT will be refunded 400 out of 500 rupees.
10th Pass Railway Job Eligibility
The details of the eligibility and age limit fixed for the post are given below:
Commercial Clerk, Ticket Examiner & Train Clerk: Candidate must have Matriculation passed certificate issued by recognized school education board with not less than 50% marks. There is no aggregate marks condition for reserved category candidates. However candidate having higher qualification such as 12th are also eligible to apply. If there is any change in it, the information will be given in the official notification.
Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Train Clerk: 10th class passed with 50% marks. Apart from this, candidate should have typing skills, 30 words per minute in English language and 25 words per minute in Hindi language. But candidate who applying under SC/ST/PWD/OBC can apply only with matriculation.

Age Limit for 10th Pass Railway Job 2018/2019
The minimum age of the candidate for all posts is 18 years and maximum age is 30 years. There is upper age relaxation benefits for reserved category candidates. Detail is given below:
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): +3 years (33 years)
- Schedule Cast (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): +5 years (35 years)
- Person with Disability (PWD): +10 years (40 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: +3 years (33 years)
There is also upper age relaxation for Widows, divorced women and women were judicially separated. It is given to them according to their category.
Salary for RRB 10th Pass Employee
This information is also very important. Candidates want the railway job so that they get good salaries and the department does not disappoint the candidates.
Candidate will get salary under 6th pay Commission. So the pay band as per 6th CPC is Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs 1900 / -. According this the approximately Salary in hand would be Rs. 27000/- (Rupee twenty seven thousand only)
Another good thing is that the government has approved the 7th pay commission. The salary will increase significantly after its implementation. According to this salary in hand would be Rs. 36000/- (Rupee thirty six thousand only).
Application cum Examination Fee
Recently Railway Recruitment Board has decided to accept only online application form. This has greatly increased the expenditure of the Department. For this reason application fee is charged but it is not very much. Rs. 100/- for General / UR category candidate and reserved category candidates are exempted for fee. Now candidate can pay examination fee online through various options like Netbaking, Credit Card, Debit Card etc.
