Let me tell you that due to the higher numbers the candidate, this examination on the group D posts of Railways has been divided into several stages.
In order to qualify for the CBT exam, candidates of general category must have 40% marks. At the same time, OBC / SC category candidates must have 30% and ST with 25% marks.
Group D examination will be 90 minutes i.e., one and a half hours. PWD candidates will be given 120 minutes for the examination in which 100 questions will be asked.
While taking the examination candidates must take care of that negative marking will be done in the examination. Therefore, we advise that if you do not know the answer to any question, then leave it. On three incorrect answers, a point will be deducted.

29.08.2018: Today the Department has printed information of CEN 02/2018 section wise Marks. This CBT will be of 100 marks and candidates will get 90 minutes to complete the test. There will be additional 30 minutes for candidate who are from PWD category. 26.08.2018: Today we have good news about CEN 02/2018 online exam. Railways have published a notices officially in which the date of the upcoming examination in Group D post has been stated. The first phase computer examination is scheduled to begin on September 17. It is impossible for the department to get this exam done in one day, so it will be completed in several sittings. Apart from this, Railway Ahmedabad Group D Admit Card, Exam City, Travel Pass for SC/ST, Mock Test and other important things will be available from 7th September.
24.07.2018: The Department has issued a important notice, which is about modification of invalid photographs.It has no relation to the admit card, but it is related to the application for Group D posts.
The department has re-examined all the applications and many of the photographs have been found invalid. The information has been given to candidates by their emails and SMS. They are advised to check revised status of their application and do the needful.
