According to official communication with authority the selection will be done through online examination. And this will be the first time that online exams will be taken for railway jobs. The examination has been made in two phases. In the first phase, 1.5 lakh posts will be filled and for the remaining posts, notification will be issued in 2019.
What’s new in RRB Kolkata Job?
Railway Recruitment Board Kolkata will introduce some new rules for the first time. The most important rule is the verification of candidates. From this year, candidates will also have to submit their Aadhaar number with the application form. The candidate’s form will be accepted only if the Aadhar Number is verified. Candidates, who have not yet made the Aadhaar Card, do their enrollments today. This strong move from the railway will benefit the job seeker. So it is clear here that the Aadhaar number has been made mandatory for railway job.
RRB Kolkata Vacancy 2018/2019 Details
Railway Recruitment Board Kolkata have decided to take recruitment examination for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’. RRB Kolkata will soon issue notification for Technical and Non-technical posts. This is a very large government organization and the large number of employee are required. It is expected that a job advertisement is going to be released. We will update this recruitment page immediately after the release. The notification will release for the post of Assistant Station Master (ASM), Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice (CA), Traffic Assistant (TA), Lineman, Gangman, Security Staff.
CEN 02/2018 Updates: It has been confirmed that Group D exam date, session and center will be announced on 9th September 2018. RRB Kolkata will provide all the CEN 02/2018 CBT information at Kolkata official website. To know the examination city, registration number and date of birth will be required. The correct location of examination centre will be disclosed through the RRB Group D Admit Card.
Computer Based Test (CBT) to be started from 17-09-2018 for recruitment at Level 1 positions. The examination city, date and shift details will be live 10 days before the beginning of CBT. The detailed CBT program will be released shortly.
Candidates who have applied for the Railway Kolkata Group D examination, they can expect the release of Call Letter soon. This examination will be held on September 17, 2018, for which e-call letter will be available 4 days in advance. Admit cards can be downloaded online using user ID and password. Candidates should note that it is mandatory to print the e-call letter and to be taken to the examination hall on the exam day.

CEN 01/2018 Updates: Railway Recruitment Board Kolkata uploaded new notification regarding CBT dates, e-call letter, exam city, mock test etc. According to the official notice 1st stage CBT for ALP/Technician will be started from 9th August 2018. Candidate who applied may get copy of e-call letter online only through official website of RRB. Apart for this board also declared exam city of the candidate, train pass for SC/SC/PWD candidates and mock test.

RRB Kolkata Group D Vacancy 2018/2019
Updates: We regularly get request regarding exam dates from applicant who applied against CEN 02/2018. According to the official communication with Senior Officer, the online exam dates will be out in 1st or 2nd week of September 2018 and CBT will be commencement from 3rd or 4th week of September 2018. Railway Kolkata Exam Fee & Reund
A few days ago, major changes were made in the rules of the recruitment of the Railways. One of these changes was also to increase fees. The examination fee was increased to Rs 500 for the General Candidate whereas 250 for the SC / ST Candidates was kept. After these changes, the students started performing in the country. Students in Bihar and West Bengal also performed on railway tracks. Railway Minister has given information through press briefing, looking at media and students pressure. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on the decision to increase the examination fee said that the fee was increased so that only serious candidate can fill the forms. The Honorable Railway Minister said that many times due to low fees, people apply but do not take exams due to which the government has to suffer loss. The Railway Minister has clarified that if the candidate sits in the examination then the increased fee will be refunded.
How to Check Application Status
After applying it is very important to know whether your application has been accepted or rejected. If the eligible candidate is submitted the form after following all the instructions, then your form will be accepted. It will be ensured by checking the application status. Application status will be available at RRB Kolkata website few days after the last date of application. There will be two list 1. rejected candidate list and 2. approved candidate list. Download the list and check you name given in approved application list. Admit Card will be issued to candidate whose application selected by the department.
How to Download RRB Kolkata Admit Card 2018/2019
Admit card will be available on same website from which application was made. Hall Ticket is usually issued two weeks before the date of examination. The railway recruitment board will not send admit card to any candidate by email or post. It can be downloaded by the candidate himself. To download this, you should use your registration number which is generated by system at the time of application submission.
How to Check RRB Kolkata Answer Key 2018/2019
Railway Recruitment Board Kolkata has issued the answer key of ALP and Technician Computer Based Test. The recruitment test for the Group C was conducted from 9th August to 4th September. Statistics of all the railway regions have been issued and according to this computer examinations were given by 36 lakh candidates. About 47 lakh applicants had applied for RRB ALP and Technician exam. After the examination, the candidates want to know how many of their answers are correct. Candidates of future examination will also benefit from the answer key. You can find the answer key of every shift from the official website of Railway Kolkata i.e. rrbkolkata.gov.in. . Apart from this, the candidate can also submit subjection by 25th September.
How to Check RRB Kolkata Results 2018
